Agee Memorial Wildlife Fund, Inc., (Agee) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ending animal suffering by rescuing homeless animals, providing them with a safe haven, addressing their nutrition and medical needs, and especially finding them loving lifelong homes they deserve.
Every animal we rescue receives sanctuary at our rescue facility, veterinary exam(s), ongoing veterinary care, vaccines, spaying, neutering, micro chipping, and any other medical aid that the rescued animal may need. We are committed to help end animal over population and communicable diseases by saving as many homeless animals as our finances will allow and educating the public regarding responsible animal care.
Please help Agee continue to help animals in need by donating today, volunteering, working in the community to promote humane preventative animal care (spay, neuter, vaccines.)
Dear Friends,
Help us raise money to purchase fencing to enclose the Agee sanctuary to 1/3 of an acre. Our shelter is growingl We need more fencing to provide our cats with a place to safely roam. The fencing will keep the predators out and keep the kitties in!
A 10 foot section of fencing costs $264.00. The estimate is based on 500 feet (1/3-1/2 acre or 20,000 square feet). We need 55 donors to purchase one section each. Every 10 foot section purchased will have a plaque displaying the donor's name. All donations are tax deductible!
One of the ways you can donate is through Paypal; it's easy and convenient. Also, we will gladly accept checks (our address is listed on the donations page.)
Thank you so much for your help!
Sanctuary Fencing Goal
Great news!: Kelly Montgomery has offered to match up to $3000 to help us raise the funds for the sanctuary fencing! Also, if anyone would like to team up to donate the funds for a 10 foot section, please let us know.
Eleanor came to us on April 14, 2008 after her mother died after giving birth. Her four (4) siblings died shortly after, from which is believed to be a virus passed on by the mother in-vitro. Eleanor from the very beginning had a will to live that cannot be explained. She fought and fought against all odds to get where she is today. Although, she only weighs a few pounds and is at least 4 1/2 months of age, her determination still amazes us daily.
Every day she makes very small improvements to stand and walk on her own. She has learned to eat on her own, use the litterbox and enjoys playing with the other kittens that pass through on their way to finding new homes. She is our little 'miracle" baby and teaches us everyday the lesson of how "all life is valuable." We will take care of Eleanor however long she lives, or until a better home can be provided for her.
We are taking donations to help Eleanor in the way of financial support or food (her favorite is Gerber's Baby Food) or litter (she needs a special litter - Yesterday's News.) If you are interested in adopting Eleanor, please contact us.
