In Loving Memory

Sue Kelly made a $264.00 donation (toward a section of sanctuary fencing) in memory of Harlo Kitty. Because of Sue's generous donation, a plaque will be put up on the section of fencing that will read "In loving memory of Harlo Kitty, she went over the Rainbow Bridge on May 31, 2008. She is greatly missed, a beloved best friend."

Buster Kitten

In Loving Memory of Buster Kitten

I lost a kitty the other day. He got hit by a car. My Buster Kitten (instead of Buster Keaton). He lived up to his name too. He was the mob guy of the neighborhood and terrorized everyone. He protected his property for sure. I've never seen him out by the road before. It was odd. He has been with us for about 4 or 5 yrs. now. We adopted him from the petco in Folsom, from the A.C.T. group (Abandoned Cat Team). We miss him dearly as does my Felix. They were best buds and ruled the neighborhood together. --Amy

Aloysius Nicodemus

In loving memory of Aloysius Nicodemus--but you can call him Al!

Al came to us as a rescued feral kitten, small enough to fit in one hand but with a will big enough to survive a broken leg after being hit by a car. He had a mission; to spend the next five years sharing his truly unique gifts with the world. He ultimately grew to be large and very much in charge. Everyone who saw him wanted to snuggle up with him, and they always walked off with a smile.

All would comment on how Al conveyed a sense of peace and happiness to them. He fulfilled his mission. His death on April 24, 2007 came too soon.

Paws Up, sweet Smilin' Al. We'll see you at the Bridge someday. Save us a spot on the bed!

Mr. Black

$100 donated in memory of Mr. Black. Mr. Black (April 24th, 1992 - August 14th, 2007) now rests in Tim's back yard along with his favorite toys and part of of his favorite blanket.

Irene Chevalier & her best friend & cat "Jeanette" Chantal Truscelli donated $200.00 in "Loving Memory" of her Mother who passed away on Valentine's Day 2007.

Kaaren Poole donated $100.00 in memory of her friend and cat "Andy" who passed in December 2006.

Chantal Truscelli has donated $50.00 in loving memory of her cat, Marsha. She was loved for her short time spent with their family.

BK

This is a portrait of BK (Beautiful Kitty) that we had done when he was about 5 years old. He was so great. He owned us. I taught him to walk on a leash and then without and he would do whatever I told him. It is just fortunate that where we live I could walk him next door to the cemetery and he could not get hurt. He would not run from me. He sat outside with us in the evening and when our lamppost went on, we would tell him it was time to go in. He was an inside kitty but I could take him for walks, he hopped in the car and went with us wherever we went. He was never left alone in the car. If we stopped at a store I would stay in car with A/C running and my husband would go in.

He went to California twice with us, in his sherpa bag sitting on my lap. I unzipped the bag and just put my hand inside and he never made a peep. I guess you can tell, we loved him.
